I have put well over 200 hours into Schedule 1 since it hit early access, and honestly, the single biggest frustration in my first playthrough was not knowing where customers actually hang out. I would wander around Hyland Point for 20 minutes trying to find someone who wanted my product, only to realize they had moved to the opposite side of the map. Sound familiar?
This guide fixes that problem permanently. I have mapped out every single customer NPC location across all six districts of the Schedule 1 map, along with their favorite drug effects, quality standards, daily schedules, and which dealers they connect you to. Whether you are still grinding through Northtown or you just unlocked Uptown at the Baron rank, this is your one stop reference.
Here is what you will learn:
- The full Schedule 1 customer locations map broken down by district
- Every NPC customer’s preferred effects and quality standards
- Specific location guides for hard to find NPCs like Joyce Ball, Greg Figgle, Sam Thompson, Jackie Stevenson, Jen Heard, and Marco Barone
- How the customer demand system actually works behind the scenes
- Pro tips from my own playthrough on maximizing customer satisfaction and profit
- The best dealer assignments per region based on customer clustering
Let’s get into it.
How Schedule 1 Customer Locations Work
Before we jump into the NPC tables, you need to understand how customer locations function in this game, because it is not as simple as “go to X spot and find Y person.”
Since almost all NPCs in Schedule 1 are free to roam around, often straying beyond their original environment, their location is based on the area they mostly frequent, though they can and do often leave. This was one of the first things that tripped me up. I would read that a customer was “in Westville” and then spend 10 minutes circling the block. Turns out they had wandered over to Northtown for a bit.
Every customer in Schedule 1 is tied to a home district, but they follow a daily routine that moves them between specific locations at specific in game times. If the NPC does a deal with you or a dealer, their routine is interrupted, so they may be at the deal location instead. They will go back to their routine after finishing the deal.
The Six Districts of Hyland Point
The city of Hyland Point is the map of Schedule 1. It is the city that the player arrives in after their escape from the Police in Serena Flats. The map is divided into six main districts, and you unlock them progressively as you rank up:
| District | Rank Required | Customer Standards | Dealer |
|---|---|---|---|
| Northtown | Starting area | Very Low to Low | Benji Coleman |
| Westville | Hoodlum I | Low | Molly Presley |
| Downtown | Hustler I | Moderate (mostly) | Brad Crosby |
| Docks | Enforcer | Moderate | Jane Lucero |
| Suburbia | Block Boss | High | Wei Long |
| Uptown | Baron | High | Leo Rivers |
Westville becomes available in the map once you reach the Hoodlum 1 rank by levelling up through XP earned from daily sales. Each subsequent district follows the same unlock pattern tied to your overall rank progression.
My experience: I rushed through Northtown in about two real world hours of play. Westville took another three. But Downtown is where things get interesting, because that is where moderate standards start applying, and if your product is low quality, customers will flat out reject your free sample.
Understanding Customer Preferences and Standards
This is arguably the most important section in the whole guide. If you do not understand how preferences and standards work, you will waste product and time.
How Customer Demand Works
Customer demand in Schedule 1 is determined by a specific Customer Data profile attached to every NPC. This profile interacts with the player’s rank and relationship status to calculate when an order is placed and the budget available for it. Each NPC has a unique data file containing fixed variables that define their behavior, including the maximum amount of money a customer can spend in a single deal.
Here are the key variables for each customer:
- Budget increases with your player rank
- Product Affinities determine whether a customer loves, is neutral toward, or hates a product type (Marijuana, Methamphetamine, Cocaine, Shrooms)
- Preferred Effects are specific drug effects the NPC enjoys
- Standards set the minimum quality tier they will accept
- Order Time determines when they place orders during the day
Affinities represent preferences for specific drug types like Marijuana, Methamphetamine, Cocaine, and Shrooms. Standards define the minimum quality tier required, ranging from Very Low to Very High.
Product Affinity Ratings Explained
Product Affinities show how much the customer likes each product type. A value of -1 means they hate it, 0 means neutral, and 1 means they love it.
This matters more than most guides tell you. I learned the hard way that offering meth to a customer with a -1 meth affinity is basically a guaranteed rejection, even if the effects match their preferences. Always check both the affinity and the preferred effects before approaching a new customer.
Why Preferred Effects Matter for Free Samples
Most customers prefer specific effects from their drugs. Giving customers their preferred effects increases the chance of a successful free sample.
Here is the thing most people miss: you do not need to match their favorite effects to make a sale. If you create your product around your customers’ favorite effects, your customers will become happier. You don’t necessarily need to cater to the favorite effects of the customers, but doing so will lead to a higher probability that they will be back for more.
In my experience, matching at least two out of three preferred effects on a free sample gives you roughly an 85% or higher success rate on converting a new customer, even at moderate standards. Matching just one drops that to maybe 50 to 60%.

Northtown Customer Locations and Preferences
Northtown is the first area of the game that will be available to you when you start. Each NPC in this area should have fairly low standards, which will help you build your customer base.
This is your training ground. Customers here will accept practically anything, which makes it the perfect place to experiment with your mixes before moving on to pickier districts.
Key landmarks in Northtown include The Motel, Dan’s Hardware, the local Warehouse, the Skate Park, and Sauerkraut Supreme Pizza.
Northtown Customer Table
| Customer | Standards | Preferred Effects | Hangout Spots |
|---|---|---|---|
| Beth Harper | Low | Calming, Energizing, Refreshing | Near the Motel, Skate Park area |
| Mick Lubbin | Low | Sneaky, Euphoric, Bright-Eyed | Motel corridor, wanders Northtown streets |
| Sam Thompson | Low | Smelly, Athletic, Munchies | Near Dan’s Hardware, Skate Park |
| Chloe Bowers | Low | Euphoric, Munchies, Shrinking | Residential sidewalks, near the Piss Hut |
| Donna Martin | Low | Lethal, Munchies, Refreshing | Northtown streets, near Gas-Mart |
| Peggy Myers | Low | Bright-Eyed, Energizing, Refreshing | Near Sauerkraut Supreme Pizza |
| Mrs. Ming | Low | Shrinking, Gingeritis, Electrifying | Residential area, walks near the RV lot |
| Peter File | Low | Sneaky, Refreshing, Focused | Near the Piss Hut, Northtown sidewalks |
| Geraldine Poon | Very Low | Long-Faced, Balding, Sedating | Dan’s Hardware area, wanders broadly |
| Jessi Waters | Very Low | Energizing, Munchies, Sedating | Near the Skate Park |
My tip: Sam Thompson is one of the first customers you will run into near Dan’s Hardware. He is usually walking around the northern end of Northtown during daytime hours. I always offer him a sample first because his standards are low and he is easy to please with a basic Smelly/Athletic mix.
Benji Coleman, your first dealer, is found in Motel Room 2. He’s crucial for early income. Getting Benji set up with a supply that matches Northtown customer preferences is your first real strategic decision in the game.

Westville Customer Locations and Preferences
The second area you unlock will be Westville. This is west of the Northtown region you started in. Most of the customers in this area will still have low standards, though as you progress it will get more difficult to impress the potential customers, so you will have to up your product game a bit.
Westville is where you start building real momentum. The customers are still pretty relaxed about quality, but you will want to start refining your mixes here because Downtown is right around the corner.
Westville Customer Table
| Customer | Standards | Preferred Effects | Hangout Spots |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kyle Cooley | Low | Euphoric, Anti-Gravity, Energizing | Westville streets, near Taco Ticklers |
| Dennis Kennedy | Low | Calming, Electrifying, Munchies | Near the Car Wash, residential area |
| Carl Bundy | Low | Paranoia, Sneaky, Slippery | Wanders Westville broadly |
| Pearl Moore | Low | Bright-Eyed, Refreshing, Calming | Near residential houses |
| Anna Chesterfield | Low | Calorie-Dense, Shrinking, Energizing | Westville sidewalks |
| Elizabeth Homley | Low | Sedating, Euphoric, Calming | Near the Post Office area |
| Kevin Oakley | Low | Thought-Provoking, Energizing, Refreshing | Between Westville and Downtown border |
| Lucy Pennington | Low | Sneaky, Munchies, Bright-Eyed | Residential area, near the school |
| Cranky Frank | Very Low | Toxic, Paranoia, Shrinking | Near the Gas-Mart, often seen on benches |
| Harold Colt | Low | Athletic, Energizing, Focused | Near the Skate Park edge of Westville |
I found that Euphoric is one of the most popular effects across Westville customers. If you can mix a strain that hits Euphoric and either Energizing or Calming, you can cover a huge chunk of this district with a single product line.
Unlocking Westville also typically grants access to new suppliers, like Shirley Watts. Make sure you visit her as soon as Westville opens up. She sells ingredients you cannot get from Dan’s Hardware, and those ingredients unlock effects that Downtown customers will want.

Downtown Customer Locations and Preferences
This is where things get real. Downtown is where the bar gets a little higher. Almost all the potential customers in this location have moderate standards.
I personally hit a wall my first time in Downtown. I was still selling the same basic weed I had been pushing in Northtown, and customer after customer rejected my free samples. Do not make the same mistake. Upgrade your mixing setup before you start approaching Downtown NPCs.
Downtown Customer Table
| Customer | Standards | Preferred Effects | Notable Info |
|---|---|---|---|
| Greg Figgle | Very Low | Toxic, Euphoric, Tropic Thunder | Easiest Downtown customer to convert |
| Randy Caulfield | Moderate | Electrifying, Paranoia, Calming | Connects to dealer Brad Crosby |
| Eugene Buckley | Moderate | Focused, Shrinking, Energizing | Also connects to Brad Crosby |
| Jennifer Rivera | Moderate | Gingeritis, Sneaky, Tropic Thunder | Near the Casino area |
| Jeff Gilmore | Moderate | Laxative, Long-Faced, Sedating | Wanders near the Parking Garage |
| Joyce Ball | Low | Thought-Provoking, Calorie-Dense, Euphoric | Found near Downtown shops |
| Trent Sherman | Low | Calorie-Dense, Balding, Athletic | Streets near Thrifty Threads |
| Meg Cooley | Low | Slippery, Thought-Provoking, Sneaky | Wanders between Downtown and Docks |
| Keith Wagner | Very Low | Tropic Thunder, Sneaky, Slippery | Easy to convert, low standards |
| Doris Lubbin | Low | Balding, Spicy, Tropic Thunder | Near the bar area |
| Kim Delaney | Low | Jennerising, Focused, Shrinking | Residential edge of Downtown |
| Lisa Gardener | Moderate | Anti-Gravity, Calming, Refreshing | Near Ray’s Real Estate |
Greg Figgle has very low standards and likes toxic, euphoric, and Tropic Thunder effects. He is genuinely the easiest customer in Downtown to convert. I always recommend him as your first target when you unlock the Hustler rank. Even a basic, unrefined product will get his attention as long as it has at least one of those effects.
Unlocking dealer Brad Crosby involves reaching the Hustler I rank, which grants access to the Downtown region. Once there, you must establish a friendly business relationship with one of his connected customers: Randy Caulfield, Greg Figgle, or Eugene Buckley. His location is in a tent within the Downtown Parking Garage.
Pro tip from my playthrough: I always target Greg Figgle first because of his very low standards, then use his connection to unlock Randy Caulfield, who then introduces you to Brad Crosby. This is the fastest path to getting a Downtown dealer operational.
Joyce Ball has low standards and is drawn to thought-provoking, calorie-dense, and euphoric effects. She tends to hang out near the Downtown shopping area during midday hours. I noticed she frequently walks along the stretch between Thrifty Threads and the Casino. If you cannot find her, check back between 10 AM and 2 PM in game time.

Docks Customer Locations and Preferences
Most people walking around the Docks also have moderate standards. The Docks are unlocked at the Enforcer rank and introduce a batch of customers who expect decent quality product.
In the Docks area, most of the customers are moderate, except for one who has very low standards. That exception is Genghis Barn, who will take basically anything you hand him. Keep some low quality product on hand specifically for him since it is practically free money.
Docks Customer Table
| Customer | Standards | Preferred Effects | Notable Info |
|---|---|---|---|
| Marco Barone | Moderate | Refreshing, Sneaky, Long-Faced | Usually near the Docks warehouses |
| Mac Cooper | Moderate | Long-Faced, Spicy, Focused | Patrols the pier area |
| Melissa Wood | Moderate | Anti-Gravity, Slippery, Refreshing | Walks along the waterfront |
| Billy Kramer | Moderate | Schizophrenic, Long-Faced, Spicy | Near the Docks entrance |
| Lily Turner | Moderate | No specific preferences | Accepts any high enough quality product |
| Fiona Hancock | Moderate | Tropic Thunder, Lethal, Thought-Provoking | Wanders the Docks broadly |
| Genghis Barn | Very Low | Laxative, Sedating, Calming | The Docks’ easy sell |
| Kathy Henderson | Moderate | Calming, Energizing, Refreshing | Near the cargo area |
| Jerry Montero | Moderate | Euphoric, Sneaky, Athletic | Near the Docks Warehouse |
Marco Barone has moderate standards and enjoys refreshing, sneaky, and long-faced effects. He is one of the more consistent NPCs in terms of location. I found him hanging around the Docks warehouses area almost every time I visited. He tends to patrol back and forth along the waterfront during afternoon hours (roughly 12 PM to 6 PM in game time).
The Docks is also where your drug empire really starts scaling up. This is when I recommend purchasing the Docks Warehouse property through Ray’s Real Estate. It gives you a massive production space right next to your customer base.

Suburbia Customer Locations and Preferences
The Suburbia area has all high-standard customers. This means your product needs to be of the highest quality if you want to immediately snag these NPCs as customers.
This is the district that separates serious players from casual ones. When I first entered Suburbia at the Block Boss rank, I thought my meth mixes were fire. Turns out, Suburbia customers looked at my product like I was offering them dirt. You must level up your mixing game before approaching anyone here.
People in Suburbia have high standards for the drugs they want. This means it can be a bit tricky to convince them to be your customers if you can’t make higher-quality samples. Fortunately, there are a few who don’t have any effect preference and will accept any type of drug as long as it’s high quality.
Suburbia Customer Table
| Customer | Standards | Preferred Effects | Notable Info |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chris Sullivan | High | Euphoric, Calming, Energizing | First target for unlocking Wei Long |
| Jackie Stevenson | High | Thought-Provoking, Calming, Anti-Gravity | Found near suburban houses |
| Hank Stevenson | High | Athletic, Energizing, Focused | Often paired with Jackie |
| Alison Knight | High | Bright-Eyed, Sneaky, Calming | Walks the suburban loop |
| Jack Knight | High | Paranoia, Electrifying, Athletic | Near Alison Knight’s area |
| Karen Kennedy | High | Calming, Refreshing, Sedating | Residential area, walks her route |
| Philip Wentworth | High | Schizophrenic, Disorienting, Lethal | Harder to please |
| Javier Pérez | High | No specific preferences | Any high quality product works |
| Ludwig Meyer | High | Focused, Calming, Thought-Provoking | Near the nicer houses |
| Louis Fourier | High | Euphoric, Energizing, Refreshing | Patrols the neighborhood loop |
| Jeremy Wilkinson | High | Munchies, Athletic, Sneaky | Near the park area |
Customers in Suburbia often prefer Calming mixes, while those in Downtown might seek Euphoric effects. I noticed this pattern immediately. If you can create a strain that combines Calming with Thought-Provoking or Euphoric, you can cover the majority of Suburbia with one or two products.
Jackie Stevenson is located in the residential section of Suburbia, usually walking along the suburban streets near the nicer houses. I found her most reliably between 9 AM and 3 PM in game time. Her preferences for Thought-Provoking, Calming, and Anti-Gravity make her a perfect match for a high quality weed strain mixed with the right ingredients.
Her husband, Hank Stevenson, is often nearby. If you can spot one, the other is usually within a block or two. I always approach both during the same trip since their preferred effects overlap enough that a single product line can satisfy both.
At the Block Boss rank, you’ll unlock the Suburbia customer list and move up to people demanding high-quality product. Start with Chris and work your way through the connections to unlock Wei Long as a dealer to cover the region.

Uptown Customer Locations and Preferences
Similar to Suburbia, all the customers in Uptown have high standards. This will be nothing new since you survived the previous area.
Uptown is the final district, unlocked at the Baron rank. By this point in the game, you should have a solid understanding of mixing, and your production pipeline should be running smoothly. The good news is that if you survived Suburbia, Uptown is actually not much harder.
Uptown Customer Table
| Customer | Standards | Preferred Effects | Notable Info |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jen Heard | High | Disorienting, Sneaky, Energizing | Also sells the Sewer Key for $1,000 |
| Walter Cussler | High | Calming, Schizophrenic, Balding | Wanders the Uptown area |
| Herbert Bleuball | High | Foggy, Explosive, Slippery | Near Bleuball’s Boutique |
| Michael Boog | High | Jennerising, Schizophrenic, Calming | Uptown residential area |
| Tobas Wentworth | High | Disorienting, Spicy, Lethal | Near the Mayor’s House |
| Ray Hoffman | High | No specific preferences | Any high quality product |
Jen Heard likes disorienting, sneaky, and energizing effects. She is one of the more interesting NPCs in the game because she also serves as a vendor. You can buy the Sewer Key from Jen Heard for $1,000 after you gain access to the Uptown region.
I found Jen Heard usually hanging around the Uptown district near the higher end residential buildings. She has a fairly predictable route that takes her past the boutique area. If you cannot find her, try checking during the late morning to early afternoon window.
Herbert Bleuball is easy to spot since he is usually near his own store, Bleuball’s Boutique, which was added in one of the post launch updates. The first post-launch update for Schedule 1 opened two new key locations: the Pawn Shop and Bleuball’s Boutique.

Specific NPC Location Deep Dives
Since several of these NPCs are specifically searched for by players, here are the detailed breakdowns for the most commonly requested characters.
Schedule 1 Joyce Ball Location
Joyce Ball is a Downtown customer with low standards. She is described as a woman with bulging eyes, which makes her visually distinctive once you know what to look for.
Where to find her: Joyce frequents the area near Downtown shops, particularly along the stretch between Thrifty Threads and the Casino. I have seen her most reliably during midday hours (10 AM to 2 PM in game time).
Her preferred effects: Thought-Provoking, Calorie-Dense, Euphoric
My recommended approach: Since Joyce has low standards, even a modestly mixed product will get her attention. I usually offer her a weed strain with the Thought-Provoking base effect. Mixing in an ingredient that adds Calorie-Dense or Euphoric makes the free sample nearly guaranteed to succeed.
Connection value: Joyce is part of the Downtown customer network. Befriending her opens connections to other Downtown NPCs, which helps you build toward unlocking dealer Brad Crosby.
Schedule 1 Greg Figgle Location
Greg Figgle is arguably the most forgiving customer in Downtown thanks to his very low standards.
Where to find him: Greg hangs around the Downtown area, often near the Parking Garage and the surrounding streets. He tends to wander more than some other NPCs, so check both the eastern and western sides of Downtown.
His preferred effects: Toxic, Euphoric, Tropic Thunder
Why he matters: To unlock dealer Brad Crosby, you must establish a friendly business relationship with one of his connected customers: Randy Caulfield, Greg Figgle, or Eugene Buckley. Greg is the easiest of these three to befriend because of his very low standards. I always recommend him as your first Downtown target.
My recommended approach: Honestly, almost anything works on Greg. But if you want to maximize your relationship gain, mix something with Toxic and Euphoric effects. Greg Figgle will be your garbage bin for any low/very low product you keep in short supply. This is actually a good thing because it means you can offload your lower quality batches to him for profit while saving your premium product for pickier customers.
Schedule 1 Sam Thompson Location
Sam Thompson is a Northtown customer, making him one of the very first NPCs you can approach.
Where to find him: Sam usually hangs around the Dan’s Hardware area and the Skate Park in Northtown. He is a man with a green cap and goatee, so he is easy to spot visually.
His preferred effects: Smelly, Athletic, Munchies
Sam Thompson has low standards and enjoys smelly, athletic, and munchies effects.
My recommended approach: Sam is a great early customer because his preferences align well with what you can easily produce in the first hour of gameplay. A basic weed strain mixed with common ingredients to add Munchies or Athletic effects will win him over almost every time.
Schedule 1 Jackie Stevenson Location
Jackie Stevenson resides in Suburbia and has high standards, making her one of the more challenging NPCs to convert.
Where to find her: Jackie walks through the residential streets of Suburbia, often near the nicer houses in the southern portion of the map. She is frequently accompanied by or near her husband, Hank Stevenson.
Her preferred effects: Thought-Provoking, Calming, Anti-Gravity
My recommended approach: Do not approach Jackie until you have a genuinely high quality product. I failed my first three free sample attempts with her because my mix quality was not up to Suburbia standards. Once I upgraded my equipment and created a premium Calming/Thought-Provoking blend, she accepted immediately.
Schedule 1 Jen Heard Location
Jen Heard is an Uptown customer with high standards who also doubles as a vendor.
Where to find her: Jen patrols the Uptown residential and shopping area, usually near the higher end buildings. She has a fairly tight patrol loop compared to some other NPCs.
Her preferred effects: Disorienting, Sneaky, Energizing
Her unique feature: She sells the Sewer Key for $1,000 once you have Uptown access. The Sewer Key opens up eight different entry points to the underground sewer system across Hyland Point. Once you have the Sewer Key, you’ll be able to enter the sewers from eight different spots in Hyland Point. There are only two NPCs in the Sewers, and both are hostile, so neither will be buying any goods from you.
Schedule 1 Marco Barone Location
Marco Barone is a Docks customer with moderate standards.
Where to find him: Marco is one of the more reliable NPCs in terms of consistency. He sticks close to the Docks warehouses and the waterfront area. I usually find him during afternoon hours between 12 PM and 6 PM in game time.
His preferred effects: Refreshing, Sneaky, Long-Faced
My recommended approach: Marco’s moderate standards mean you need decent quality product, but nothing extreme. A well mixed strain featuring Refreshing as the primary effect works great. I found that a cocaine base with Refreshing and Sneaky effects hits two of his three preferences and converts him reliably on the first try.

How to Unlock Customers Efficiently
Here is the system I have refined over multiple playthroughs for unlocking customers as fast as possible.
Step 1: Understand the Connection Web
Customers have to be unlocked by the player. This is done when the player has at least one of the potential customer’s contacts in their own contacts, by offering the customer a free sample. Different customers have different preferences of effects, and satisfying these preferences will increase the player’s bonding with the customer.
This means you cannot just walk up to any NPC and offer them product. You need to already know someone they know. The game displays connection lines between NPCs in your phone contacts, so always check who connects to whom before deciding your next target.
Step 2: Match Effects to Maximize Sample Success
Once you unlock regions like the Docks, and your potential customers’ standards start at Moderate or higher, making sure your product has their favorite effects massively increases the chance you’ll unlock them with a single sample. You can also use multiple free sample products for multiple people if you don’t mind a slightly lower chance of them accepting.
This is a huge optimization tip. Many customers share favorite effects. For example, in Downtown, both Greg Figgle and Keith Wagner enjoy Tropic Thunder and Sneaky. A single product with both effects can be used as samples for both customers in the same trip.
Step 3: Time Your Visits
Every customer has a specific assigned Order Time. An order can only be generated during a 2-hour window starting at that specific time.
This means if you show up at the wrong time, a customer might not be in their usual spot or might not be interested in ordering. I always check the in game clock before heading out on a sales run.
Step 4: Build Toward Dealers Strategically
Each region has one dealer who you can recruit to sell on your behalf. Here is the priority order I recommend:
- Northtown: Befriend Beth Harper or Mick Lubbin first, then unlock Benji Coleman
- Westville: Work through Kyle Cooley or Dennis Kennedy toward Molly Presley
- Downtown: Target Greg Figgle (easiest) to eventually connect to Brad Crosby
- Docks: Build relationships with Marco Barone or Mac Cooper toward Jane Lucero
- Suburbia: Start with Chris Sullivan to work toward Wei Long
- Uptown: Build connections through Jen Heard or Walter Cussler toward Leo Rivers
Dealers are: D.1 Benji Coleman in Northtown with no rank requirement, D.2 Molly Presley in Westville at Hoodlum rank, D.3 Brad Crosby in Downtown at Hustler rank, D.4 Jane Lucero in the Docks at Enforcer rank, D.5 Wei Long in Suburbia at Block Boss, and D.6 Leo Rivers in Uptown at Baron.

Dealer Assignments by Region: Optimizing Your Supply Chain
Once you have dealers recruited, the next challenge is making sure they are selling the right products to the right customers. Here is my breakdown by region.
Best Product Lines by District
| District | Most Popular Effects | Recommended Base Product | Key Mixing Ingredients |
|---|---|---|---|
| Northtown | Euphoric, Sneaky, Munchies | Marijuana (OG Kush) | Basic Gas-Mart ingredients |
| Westville | Euphoric, Energizing, Calming | Marijuana (OG Kush/Green Crack) | Cuke, Energy Drink |
| Downtown | Euphoric, Tropic Thunder, Sneaky | Marijuana or Meth | Gasoline, Donut, Cuke |
| Docks | Refreshing, Sneaky, Long-Faced | Meth or Cocaine | Gasoline, Mega Bean, Motor Oil |
| Suburbia | Calming, Thought-Provoking, Euphoric | High quality Cocaine or Meth | Premium ingredients, multiple mixing steps |
| Uptown | Disorienting, Sneaky, Calming | High quality Cocaine | Multi-step mixing with premium ingredients |
Each Hyland Point resident has their own unique set of favorite strains and effects. Giving a customer drugs with their favorite effects will increase their level of satisfaction and potentially result in them paying more. Each drug strain comes with a default effect, but players can mix their products with ingredients purchased from Gas-Mart to create interesting blends.
My experience: I spent a solid week of real time playtime testing different product lines per district. The table above reflects what actually worked best for me in terms of customer satisfaction and profit margin. For Northtown and Westville, you honestly do not need to overthink it. A basic OG Kush with one or two mixed effects covers 80% of the customer base. But once you hit Downtown, you want to start diversifying.
Addiction and Repeat Orders
Here is something most guides completely overlook: the addiction system drives long term revenue more than initial sales.
The number of orders generated per week is determined by comparing the customer’s Addiction Level against the Relationship Level. The system uses the higher of these two values to interpolate between the customer’s Min and Max Orders Per Week. A customer with high addiction will order frequently even if their relationship with the dealer is low.
This means a highly addicted customer is basically a guaranteed recurring income source. I noticed that some of my Northtown customers who I neglected relationship-wise were still ordering weekly because their addiction levels had climbed so high. The game rewards consistency.
Key Locations on the Hyland Point Map
Beyond customer locations, here are the critical landmarks you need to memorize:
Properties You Can Buy
While most places like the car mechanic’s shop, Top Tattoos, and Thrifty Threads are owned by NPCs in Schedule 1, there are four businesses and seven properties you can own.
| Property/Business | Location | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Motel | Northtown | Starting production base |
| Chinese Restaurant | Downtown/Northtown border | Early upgrade property |
| Laundromat | Central area | Money laundering business |
| Car Wash | Westville | Money laundering business |
| Taco Ticklers | Westville | Money laundering business |
| Post Office | Downtown | Money laundering business |
| Bungalow | Suburbia | Large production space |
| Docks Warehouse | Docks | Massive production space |
| Barn | Outskirts | Large growing space |
To buy any of them, simply head to Ray’s Real Estate. Once you own the building, you can head to a PC in the backroom of each business and start turning your dirty drug money into clean cash that you can access from the bank.
Essential Stores
The most important place to keep in mind is Dan’s Hardware, as this is where you’ll buy all of your ingredients to make different mixes. It can be found right at the top of the map.
Other key stores include:
- Gas-Mart for mixing ingredients
- Hyland Auto for buying vehicles
- Thrifty Threads for character customization
- Top Tattoo for ink customization
- The Casino for gambling your profits
- Pawn Shop for selling unwanted items
- Bleuball’s Boutique for additional shopping
Hyland Auto is where you can buy high-spec cars to help you get around quickly. While it shouldn’t be the first item on your list, it’s a great luxury once you’ve got plenty of money coming in.
I cannot stress enough how much a car changes the game. Walking across Hyland Point takes forever, and when you have customers spread across six districts, a vehicle is practically mandatory. Save up for your first car as soon as you are making consistent profit from Northtown and Westville.
If you are into games with large maps, you might also enjoy our guide on Ghost of Tsushima duel locations, which also requires memorizing NPC locations across a big open world.
Pro Tips From 200+ Hours of Play
Here are some things I wish I had known before starting:
1. Always Carry Multiple Product Types
Do not head out with just one strain. I carry at least three different products when I do sales runs, specifically tailored for different customer preferences. This way, if I bump into an unexpected customer, I am ready.
2. Check the Time Before Sales Runs
Customers have specific order windows. There is no point visiting a customer at 9 PM if their order time is 10 AM. I keep a mental note (or an actual note on my second monitor) of when my highest value customers order.
3. Use the Sewers for Fast Travel
Once you buy the Sewer Key from Jen Heard for $1,000, the eight sewer entrances across Hyland Point work as pseudo fast travel points. The sewers connect different districts, saving you tons of walking or driving time. Getting into the Sewers requires the Sewer Key. You can sometimes find the key lying around in the world, or in an NPC’s belongings when you pickpocket them.
4. Failed Samples Are Not the End
Don’t be too intimidated by customer standards. If you fail to pick up a customer with your first free sample, simply find them another day and try again. I failed samples with at least a third of my Suburbia customers on the first attempt. Just come back with better product.
5. Match Dealer Supply to District Demand
When recruiting dealers in a new region, supply them with custom drug strains that satisfy the needs of the majority of the area’s residents. Do not give your Northtown dealer the same product as your Suburbia dealer. Each district has different popular effects, and your dealers should be stocked accordingly.
6. Greg Figgle Is Your Best Friend in Downtown
I cannot overstate how useful Greg is. Very low standards, connected to Brad Crosby’s network, and he accepts practically anything. Befriend him immediately when Downtown opens up.
7. Watch for NPC Route Changes
Some NPCs like Mick can eventually become shut-ins depending on what drugs they get addicted to, so their scheduled locations can change. This caught me off guard. I had Mick Lubbin as a steady Northtown customer, and then one day he just stopped appearing on his usual route. Turns out the drug effects I was selling him altered his behavior pattern.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many total customers are there in Schedule 1?
According to community data tracked on the Schedule 1 Wiki, there are over 60 unique customer NPCs spread across the six districts of Hyland Point. This number may increase with future updates, as the game is still actively being developed.
Where is Greg Figgle in Schedule 1?
Greg Figgle is a Downtown customer with very low standards. He is typically found wandering near the Parking Garage and surrounding Downtown streets. He is one of the three NPCs (alongside Randy Caulfield and Eugene Buckley) who can connect you to dealer Brad Crosby.
Where is Joyce Ball in Schedule 1?
Joyce Ball frequents the Downtown shopping area, particularly between Thrifty Threads and the Casino. She has low standards and prefers Thought-Provoking, Calorie-Dense, and Euphoric effects. Look for her during midday hours.
How do I find Sam Thompson in Schedule 1?
Sam Thompson hangs around Northtown, especially near Dan’s Hardware and the Skate Park. He has low standards and likes Smelly, Athletic, and Munchies effects. He is one of the earliest customers you can approach.
Where is Jackie Stevenson located?
Jackie Stevenson is in Suburbia with high standards. She walks the residential streets near the nicer houses, often accompanied by her husband Hank. Her preferred effects are Thought-Provoking, Calming, and Anti-Gravity.
How do I find Jen Heard in Schedule 1?
Jen Heard is in Uptown, usually near the higher end residential and shopping buildings. She has high standards and prefers Disorienting, Sneaky, and Energizing effects. She also sells the Sewer Key for $1,000.
Where is Marco Barone in Schedule 1?
Marco Barone patrols the Docks area, particularly near the warehouses and waterfront. He has moderate standards and enjoys Refreshing, Sneaky, and Long-Faced effects. He is most reliably found during afternoon in game hours.
Do customer locations change in Schedule 1?
Yes. NPC movement is not static, and they may wander from their usual hangouts. Additionally, deals with players or dealers can interrupt their normal patrol routes. Some NPCs may even change behavior based on the drugs they consume over time.
What happens if a customer rejects my free sample?
Nothing permanent. You can try again the next in game day with a better product. If you fail to pick up a customer with your first free sample, simply find them another day and try again.
Are there customers in the sewers?
No. There are only two NPCs in the Sewers, and both are hostile, so neither will be buying any goods from you. The sewers are useful for fast travel between districts, but not for sales.
Conclusion and Next Steps
After 200+ hours with Schedule 1, I can tell you that knowing your customer locations and preferences is the single biggest advantage you can have in this game. The difference between wandering aimlessly and having a targeted sales route is massive in terms of both profit and progression speed.
Here is your action plan:
- Bookmark this guide for quick reference during gameplay
- Focus on Greg Figgle first when you hit Downtown since he is the easiest path to Brad Crosby
- Upgrade your mixing equipment before approaching Suburbia since their high standards will crush you otherwise
- Buy a car as soon as you can afford it since walking across Hyland Point is painfully slow
- Use the Sewer Key from Jen Heard for fast travel shortcuts between districts
- Tailor your dealer supplies to match each district’s most popular effects
The game continues to receive updates that add new customers and content. According to information on the official Schedule 1 Steam page, the developers have plans for additional content throughout 2026, with major updates that keep adding new content, including the Shrooms update that introduced several new NPCs and additional customers.
