These creatures are quite lovely, even if they eventually evolve into a bunch of buffoons known as Wobbuffets. Just to clear something up right away before we continue, Wynauts are not really encountered in the wild in Wynaut sword and shield, despite what you may have heard. The only way to get your hands on one of these adorable babies is via the acquisition of a Wobbuffet.
Wynaut may be obtained in the following ways:
Hatching
Obtainable by the hatching of an egg. In order to complete the quest, you must equip a Wobbuffet with Lax Incense (this item is critical and must be used!). In Hulbury, you can purchase Lax Incense from the herb merchant’s shop in Hulbury. In order to couple it with a Ditto, place the Wobbuffed (which has been equipped with Lax Incense) in the Nursery (Route 5 or Bridge Field).
A Ditto just makes things easy by taking on the form of another Wobbuffet, which makes them more manageable. You may also allow a male and a female Wobbuffet to mate and have eggs. Return to the location where the egg was found and go far enough for it to hatch. A Wynaut should be dispatched.

If you want to capture a Wobbuffet, you need to go to the Dusty Bowl in Heavy Fog. Wobbuffets spawn at a probability of 55%. Lake of Outrage in Heavy Fog has a 30% probability, whereas Hammerlocke Hills has a 45 percent chance in Normal weather.
Get Lax Incense and give it to Wobbuffet
